Melodie Adams spent her childhood years in various states west of the Mississippi and claimed that it was "a terrific, ever- changing, always interesting way to grow up." Still, in spite of all the wonderful places she had seen, her favorite way to relax was to spend a day in the sun, a tall glass of iced tea in one hand and a good romance in the other.
